Freight audit pricing

Freight audit pricing without pretending estimates are cash.

Freight audit pricing explained: RETALLY's initial audit is $0 upfront, while authorized recovery work uses an agreed success-based fee on eligible funds actually recovered.

01

The initial recovery audit is $0 upfront

RETALLY's launch offer is a bounded, no-upfront-cost audit designed to determine whether a supportable recovery opportunity appears to exist. The free summary can include population coverage, discrepancy categories, a supportable potential range, confidence, limitations, and a recommended next step.

02

Recovery work is success-based

If supported opportunities exist and the customer chooses to proceed, the recovery engagement states the exact contingency percentage before work begins. The fee applies only to fee-eligible funds actually recovered under the agreed terms.

03

What does not create a recovery fee

A software flag, estimated opportunity, unpaid claim, duplicate amount, unsupported finding, pre-existing matter, automatic credit, or incumbent-known issue does not become feeable merely because it appears in an audit. Actual recovered funds and attribution must be evidenced separately.

04

Fixed-fee forensic work can be scoped separately

Some organizations prefer to directly fund a broader forensic analysis and retain all recoveries. That alternative can be custom scoped and priced in writing. It is not the standard launch offer.

05

How to compare freight-audit pricing

Compare the fee base, exclusions, attribution window, treatment of automatic credits, reversals, implementation fees, platform fees, minimum commitments, data requirements, and whether the provider charges on estimated savings or only realized recovery. A lower headline percentage can still be more expensive if the fee base is broader.
